About Us

A family legacy of giving.

A brief history

AY Nguyen Foundation was established in September 2024 by Viet An and Lacey Yen Nguyen's family with a mission to build a lasting legacy of giving in support of community development, education, and environmental stewardship. We have committed to contributing over one million dollars in our lifetime to charitable causes, and to leaving a legacy for future generations to carry forward.

Originally founded as a private foundation, our primary purpose has been to provide grants to charitable organizations rather than operate programs directly. In 2024 and 2025, we contributed $44,000 to nonprofit organizations across a broad range of projects, guided by our commitment to drive change in four focus areas:

  • Community well-being
  • Education
  • Disaster relief
  • Nature conservation

We will continue to grow our philanthropic impact through strategic partnerships and programs aligned with our core values. Our enduring legacy rests on dedicated stewardship of our resources and a lasting commitment to meaningful community support.

Projects we have sponsored

  • Clean Water Initiatives — VNHELP
  • Yagi Storm Disaster Relief — SYS
  • Nature Conservation — Filoli Center, Grand Canyon Conservancy & Death Valley Natural History Association
  • Education Fund — SchoolForce
